With a coffee table, a sheet, and a few a rocks you can transform your household furniture into a darkened cave for Cubetto to navigate through.

Materials

Coffee table or chair

Blanket, tablecloth or sheet

Craft paper

Scissors

Tape

Rocks, bowls, gemstones or anything else you’d like to decorate your cave with

Small torch (optional)

How to

Move your table to an accessible area. Begin by cutting paper into stalactites and stalagmites. You can cut long triangles or download our Cone Template.

Tape your cones or triangles to the bottom of the table. Stand up a few on the floor. Make sure you leave some room for Cubetto to explore.

Decorate your cave with whatever materials you like. Bonus points for creativity and thinking outside the box!

Drape a cloth over the table to create your cave walls. If you have a small torch, tape that to Cubetto to make a headlamp.

Help Cubetto navigate your new cave. Using Cubetto’s Control Board, see if you can direct the robot in one side and out the other!
