Half term activities: make a robot that can draw!

image

Build your own robot… that can draw! That’s right – you can create your very own moving robot that also makes beautiful art!

You will need

• Vibration motors

• Wires

• Button cell batteries

• Plastic cups

• Different coloured pens

• Ice-lolly sticks

Steps

1. First connect the vibration motor to the battery, and tape it tightly to the inside of the plastic cup.

2. For the robot’s legs, attach lolly sticks to the inside of the cup, and pens so it can draw!

3. Get decorating! Jazz up your robot by sticking on coloured paper or card, googly eyes and pompoms!

4. Take the lids off the pens, place your robot on a large piece of paper, turn on the motor, and see what it creates!
